About Woodstock Fire
Established in 1934, the Woodstock Volunteer Fire Association is a group of highly motivated and dedicated women and men who volunteer their time for our community of Woodstock, Connecticut.
Our primary service area is southern Woodstock, which includes industrial and commercial areas, the town's schools, town office building, churches, farms, historical buildings, lakes, elderly housing, and many residences.
We work seamlessly with the other two departments in town, Bungay Fire Brigade (West Woodstock & Woodstock Valley) and Muddy Brook Fire Department (North and East Woodstock) providing mutual aid to each other. We also provide mutual aid to surrounding towns.
Woodstock Fire responds to many incidents including structure fires, brush fires, automatic fire alarms, hazardous materials incidents, vehicle accidents, vehicle fires, storm related incidents and many other types of calls.
The Town of Woodstock is the second largest town in Connecticut land wise and is served by our amazing volunteers from all three fire departments in town.
